The Green Bay Packers will be marching into Soldier Field with their high powered offense to face off against the Chicago Bears’ young and energetic defense. This divisional matchup will decide who will represent the NFC in Super Bowl XLV.
The Bears’ quarterback, Jay Cutler, has often been criticized for his inaccurate throws and hasty decisions. These qualities could hurt him on Sunday, when he will have to face two of the game’s best cornerback which are Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams. Williams has had two very important interceptions in back-to-back weeks . One sealing the win in Philadelphia and a defensive touchdown in Atlanta. If Cutler makes too many bad decisions with the football, this game could become a blowout in favor of Green Bay.
The Packers can also win on the strength of their offense. Aaron Rodgers is on a hot streak at just the right time. Last week, in Atlanta, Rodgers caught fire throwing for 366 yards and three touchdowns.
The Packers have recently added a running game to compliment their explosive pass attack. James Starks has surprised defenses lately because the defenses game plan to stop Aaron Rodgers. However, the Bears defense will not give up rushing yards very easily. In comparison, Matt Forte has become a high-end running back as well. The Bears’ running game could be very important to keep the Packers offense on the sideline.
